Members of U.S. Army Special Operations Command will train with other U.S Armed Forces units July 15 through Sept. 15 in a multi-state exercise. The training primarily occur on pre-coordinated private property and military installations. Applicable local and state officials were notified as to the extent of training that will occur off military installations. The training will take place in parts of Arizona, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Texas and Utah. The public can expect little disruption in their day-to-day activities since much of the exercise will be conducted in remote areas. The most noticeable effect the exercise may have on the local communities is a slight increase in vehicle traffic and the limited use of military aircraft and its associated noise.
